Font Awesome make a squarebox?

-1

I really love to customize my own laptop, and the most important thing is icon (font-awesome). But I don't know why it's not work well in my Arch linux.
I already install font-awesome and it show up with the icon very well but suffix it come together with the square. If I add a dot after the icon it will come up with icon and . it doesn't show square anymore. But it kinda ugly. Does anyone know how to fix it?

  • it appears to be a space character (ASCII 20 hexadecimal) .... you have a space at the end of label= line .....it may have something to do with unicode because the graphic character may be unicode..... you can verify if it is a space by putting a space right after the = (before the graphic)
