Assign Variable to Serial Data from arduino using python

I am continuously getting the output of the temperature sensor from Arduino as mentioned below
28.92
64.26
93.77
and, I want to assign the variable to these values.
Need suggestion about how can I be able to assign the variable to these values?
Will be very helpful.
