xorg with vesa driver: how to set 1920 x 1080
0
I have an old PC for my parents with integrated videocard (NVIDIA) where the nouveau driver is practically crashing every day, while browsing some complex website or playing some home videos. Running latest ubuntu, but debian had the same issue. I have switched to VESA but I am unable to run it at 1920x1080 (this is the monitor resolution), but it is stuck at 1280x1024. Any idea on how to "force" the right resolution?
