Second monitor doesn't work on Kernel 4.15

1

I upgraded to Kubuntu 18.04 and my second monitor is no longer detected.

Its connected via dvi-vga adapter to my gfx card and my main display is via hdmi. At kernel 4.14 it was working fine (tested other distros with kernel 4.14 and 4.15 and it still doesnt get detected at 4.15 ). Here's the output of xrandr ( GPU: Sapphire R9 380X )

Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 16384 x 16384
DisplayPort-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
HDMI-A-0 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 509mm x 286mm
1920x1080 60.00*+ 50.00 59.94
1680x1050 60.00
1600x900 60.00
1280x1024 75.02 60.02
1440x900 60.00
1280x800 60.00
1152x864 75.00
1280x720 60.00 50.00 59.94
1024x768 75.03 60.00
800x600 75.00 60.32
720x576 50.00
720x480 60.00 59.94
640x480 75.00 60.00 59.94
720x400 70.08
DVI-D-0 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
DVI-D-1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

I might have found a solution from someone with a similar problem but i don't know where i should add this.

With Linux 4.15, AMDGPU DC is just enabled by default for Vega
hardware. If you are on GCN 1.1 or newer with AMDGPU and want to use
DC, you need to use the amdgpu.dc=1 kernel module parameter for
activation.

Where do i have to add this?
