Embedded Node.js server will not start on PHPRunner 10

0

I have been using PHPRunner 7 for several years and never had any issues with it. Recently I invested in updating to PHPRunner 10. The program comes with an embedded Node.js server.

The program sometimes will not start because it fails to start the server. Other times it will launch but when I come to use an add/edit feature on page designer the program freezes every time.

I have been in touch with their tech support and have tried a host of things. Creating rules in firewall, tried 32 and 64 bit versions, shutting down anti-virus etc. All to no avail.

I am hoping there is someone out there that might have that spark of genius to help me solve this problem.

We're happy to help, but you haven't given us much to go on, and we'll need more from you. First, we need details on the system this software is running on, whether this was an in place upgrade or a new install, a COMPLETE list of everything you have tried, more details on the specific issues you are experiencing, the content of any log files generated by the OS and application during the error, etc. Please use the EDIT button to add this and any other relevant information to your original question. Do not add this information in comments. We want to make the question better.
