memory protection violation XAMPP

I'd like to install XAMPP on ubuntu 18.04 LTS and this is what I get:
docislaw@Artur:~/Pulpit$ sudo su
root@Artur:/home/docislaw/Pulpit# chmod 755 xampp-linux-x64-7.3.1-0-installer.run
root@Artur:/home/docislaw/Pulpit# ls -l xampp-linux-x64-7.3.1-0-installer.run
-rwxr-xr-x 1 docislaw docislaw 142524589 lut 10 10:14 xampp-linux-x64-7.3.1-0-installer.run
root@Artur:/home/docislaw/Pulpit# sudo ./xampp-linux-x64-7.3.1-0-installer.run

Naruszenie ochrony pamięci (translation: Memory protection violation)
root@Artur:/home/docislaw/Pulpit#
Any idea how to solve the problem?
