How to start programs at startup with dwm window manager
I've been using i3wm and there all I need was these in my ~/.config/i3/config
exec_always --no-startup-id feh --bg-scale ~/Pictures/backgrounds/polygon.jpg
exec_always --no-startup-id sh ~/Documents/projects/dotFiles/keyboard.sh
exec --no-startup-id compton --config $HOME/.config/compton.conf
exec --no-startup-id nm-applet
exec --no-startup-id xinput set-prop 'DELL0767:00 06CB:7E92 Touchpad' 'libinput Tapping Enabled' 1
exec --no-startup-id xinput set-prop 'DELL0767:00 06CB:7E92 Touchpad' 'libinput Natural Scrolling Enabled' 1
I know a little bit about xinitrc
, but don't understand how it comes to play if I use session managers like GDM. So, how do I start the programs mentioned above when starting dwm?
dwm xinit
