Cannot sign out of Office 365 desktop apps

-1

I have exact problem as the one is this thread:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/cannot-sign-out-of-office-365-desktop-apps/f89c7f99-a640-4037-9550-4ff426109525

I try sign out office 365, delete credential, delete registry, restart computer.... but no luck.

Did Microsoft has any fix on this?

Or any workaround that can help?

P/S: I try post a question at https://answers.microsoft.com too but cannot click the button Submit, as in this question: https://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/321951/how-to-ask-question-at-answer-microsoft-com

  • Please provide more information about the "cannot sign out Office 365 apps" issue. Is there any error when you click Sign Out button (File > Account, under User Information, click Sign Out) in Word 2016? Try to reinstall Office 365 apps on current computer.

  • @WinniL As in the link I provide, I sign out successfully in File > Account, then I close excel and open it again, go to account and it appear that I has already signed in.

  • Are you setup this account in Outlook 2016? Generally, if you setup this account in Outlook, then restart Outlook client, it may be added back in Office.
