How to detect that `python.exe` has crashed when started from `cmd`?

0

I'm running python tests using this cmd command on windows 7:

D:binpython.exe -m pytest --junit-xml=results.xml C:Usersmy_username.jenkinsworkspaceFirstPipelineForOrigintestproject_test

I get python crash shown on the image bellow:

python.exe has stopped working

It fails on GTK GUI tests and it always fail on the same test, so it is not deterministic. I haven't been able to reproduce it on Windows 10.

When I run the cmd command above and python crashes the console just waits and that is a problem because I'm running it on jenkins. I would like to inform the cmd that execution of command is over (one way or the other) so I can try something else. Is there I way to do that?
