Ubuntu Studio printing problem

0

All versions of Ubuntu I’ve used have always recognized & set up my printers. Ubuntu Studio (18.04 64 bit) is an exception.

It recognized my Canon Maxify MB2720 but, if I try to print a pdf, it spits out sheet after sheet of paper with no printing on them. It’s supposed to print one copy of one page. It just goes nuts until I cancel the job and then it will still spit out 19 or 20 blank pages.
I’m clueless.
