Kuna camera failing to pair through Bluetooth

0

My security camera, Maximus Smart Security Light is not pairing through Bluetooth. The issue started when I did a reset to factory default and I couldn't connect via Bluetooth anymore with the mobile app.

I can see the camera still connected to the network, lighting works, and device is listed in the Bluetooth devices. However when I tried to connect via Bluetooth it fails.

When I called the vendor for support they shut me down saying device is out of warranty and I need to buy a new one. I refuse to throw such a nice/expensive device to the garbage just cause of some Bluetooth pairing connection issue.

Could someone please advise tips to get the pairing working?

Further details

  • Vendor explanation of issue: ssl_defect_bluetooth

  • Model: Maximus Smart Security Light (SPL06-07A1W1-BKT-K1)

  • Phones tested with: iPhones and Android smart phones.
