How to build openWRT with specific version?

0

I want to build openWRT 18.06.1 for my mt76x8 device, and the source code I'm using is from https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/archive/v18.06.1.tar.gz.
When I tried to install kmod-mii package, I got follow error

root@OpenWrt:/tmp# opkg install kmod-mii_4.14.63_mipsel_24kc.ipk
Installing kmod-mii (4.14.63-1) to root...
Collected errors:
* satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies
for kmod:
* kernel (= 4.14.63-1-6c5df541905ae6bbe8d85627558ea00c) *
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package kmod-mii.

From the official guide --force-depends is not recommended for kmods packages, and it did make the kernel crash.
The kernel version I got from openWRT is MIPS OpenWrt Linux-4.14.63

So what should I do to fix this error?
