Configure backliting on Logitech keyboard Ubuntu 18.04

0

I have a Logitech g413 keyboard,it has only red backlighting and two modes:static(just solid red backlighting) and breathing.

When I load Windows(I have Ubuntu 18.04 and Windows 10 dual boot) keyboard is in static mode by default. And even if I save the backlit mode to static in the drivers(Logitech Gaming Software) on , when I load Linux my keyboard's backlighting mode turns to breathing and since the Logitech Gaming Software ins't avalable on Linux I cant change the backlighting mode(the breathing effect is very annoying to me)

Try adding acpi_backlight=vendor to your grub configuration on the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT= line, then update-grub.
