Ubuntu doesn't load after ubuntu login

0

DELL PRECISION | M4700 laptop, 16G RAM, 1TB, Dual Boot Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS with Win10.
I get user name shown, click Enter, enter password, screen goes clear. Nothing else happens, forever. Power stays on, screen is black but lit.
Reinstalled and same.

Just seeing if anyone had experience with this?
