What is the best pratice to edit an UIMA xmi file [closed]

I have texts -- like the one in the picture -- which have been run through a natural language processing pipeline using UIMA/DKPro. The underlying document is a xmi file. I need to split it into two texts. Is there any way to do this in UIMA?
