Maximize I/O operations [on hold]
I've been doing a lot of reading and wanted to understand what are all the hardware/software components that play a role in limiting the I/O speed of say loading the OS. I'm primarily interested in the von Neumann architecture since that's mostly what is in use today.
For example, I know that secondary storage comes with a marketed read and write speed but in reality if your other hardware components are slower then you will never truly benefit for these speeds.
