How to add a cell value in a link in Excel
I have an issue with links composition in Excel.
Lets say in cell A1 I have value of "34". In A2 I have a link to a cell in another excel file - something like "serverexcelfile_34.xls!Sheet1C12".
I would like when the value of A1 in the first file changes to "35", the link in A2 to become "serverexcelfile_35.xls!Sheet1C12".
The link is actually pulling a value from the other file. I just have hundreds of those "excelfileXX" and if "A1" = 35, only the one with 35 at the end is the right one to pull data from.
I tried concatenate but the link becomes huge >255. After separating it in different cells and then concatenated - the link was not working. No data was pulled from the external file.
Is what I need possible? Can you help?

Concatenate doesnt work as the link becomes above 255 symbols. If I separate the link in cells and then concatenate them they just dont work as expected. At the end it doesnt show the cell value I am linking to.

Use the EDIT button to add information to the body of the question itself rather than adding this necessary information in comments.
