“reload” midi audio drivers without rebooting

0

everytime my macbook wakes up, the OS fails to load the midi driver again. The audio driver from my audio interface loads fine but the midi ports from it are not recognised anymore nor is an external USB-connected midi controller. The audio interface and external controler midi ports are disabled in the "Audio MIDI setup" window. The only way I knwo to fix that is to reboot the computer. I have disabled the "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" in the Energy Saver preference but no luck.

Is there a command in the terminal that would alow me to force the reloading of the midi drivers? That would suffice me. Unless there is a better option?

Thanks.
