Unable to access express generator
I am trying to learn Express.js and have been doing various tutorials. Suddenly I am unable to generate an express app using the normal command in terminal.
Initially if i entered express <app_name>
, I would receive the command not found. After adjusting the path via some SO responses, I now am getting a permission error as follows:
➜ development npm install -g express-generator
/usr/local/Cellar/node/11.0.0/bin/express -> /usr/local/Cellar/node/11.0.0/lib/node_modules/express-generator/bin/express-cli.js
+ express-generator@4.16.0
updated 1 package in 0.738s
➜ development express express-locallibrary-tutorial --view=pug
zsh: permission denied: express
➜ development
I did not have this problem until yesterday. Nothing I cn point to has changed in my environment. What happened and how do I fix it?
