Ubuntu doesn't start on hp proliant [closed]

0

I've installed Ubuntu 18.10 on my hp proliant server. But now I can't start it.

The option 'Ubuntu' shows up in the boot menu (Picture 1) but when I click it the system configuration opens up (Picture 2). When I select "Exit and resume system boot" in the options list the error message "No bootable device" (Picture 3) shows up.

What could I do?

I've found some tips on the internet but nothing worked.

ubuntu in the boot menu list

system configuration shows up after selecting ubuntu

error message after leaving system configurations

The last thing I've read as a possible solution was to set the boot mode from legacy to uefi but in my case it's already in the uefi boot mode.

  • @roaima I'm working on this for about 4 hours and I tried so many things that I can not say exactly what I've did already. I've made several changes in the BIOS of my HP PROLIANT.
