Limited connectivity on ubuntu 16.04
I've been working at this for two days now. The issue is I can CONNECT TO EVERYTHING when I am downstairs near to my modem n router at home but limited connections when I went upstairs into my room(wifi at 2 bars strength)STRANGE! Limited connections mean I can only access sites such as Google, WhatsApp youtube and etc (I suspect only ipv6 sites) but not most other sites such as StackOverflow, askubuntu, outlook.
Plus the connection speed and downloads speed on those limited sites is perfectly fine n fast.
Firefox is suggesting "cant reach the server" on other sites. My phone though connects perfectly fine.
I'm fairly new to Ubuntu and networking. Current specs is a windows 10 n ubuntu dual-boot. Only tried basic network solutions such as ifconfig, and using open DNS via wifi ipv4 interface. Doesn't work. There are other solutions but I am unsure about my problem and doesn't want to mess up my configurations too much.
