MacOs vs Ubuntu local web server (php/apache) performance
I worry about speed on my MacBook Pro laptop. I have tested page speed load for the same website on several setups:
Tested on one page:
MacBook Pro (i5/8gb)
Native : php7/apache/mysql/xDebug : ~1.1sec
Docker : php7/apache/nginx/xDebug : ~1.5sec
PC - Ubuntu (old i7/8gb)
Native : php7/apache/mysql/xDebug : ~200ms
PC - Windows (i5/8gb)
Openserver : php7/apache/md7ysql/xDebug : ~1.3sec
All these setups like out of the box and don't have any special optimization for a project.
I will happy if someone can explain how to speed up macos for develop process.
