Wifi Connection for a camper
I have a camper trailer in my yard and want to be able to pick up wifi. Wifi drops about 75 feet from the camper. I know that trailers tend to have problems with wifi due to all the metal. Running an ethernet cable is not an option. The house is 60 year old wood frame and the wifi/modem is approximately 150 feet from the camper. I've been trying to understand how extenders work but i can't understand how they connect to the current modem (wifi or ethernet to modem). I can't drill a hole through the aluminum siding to connect an ethernet cable. Can anyone explain to me how this works. Is an interior extender as good an exterior?

Your question is unclear. What do you mean by WIFI drops off 75 foot from your camper? What make and model is your router and how built up is the area you live in? ( its relevant because of interference from other devices)

Ive not used one because they are horrible technology which halve your bandwidth and cause a tragedy of the commons but WIFI repeaters pick up a signal on a given SSID and rebroadcast it.

Do you have power from the house in the trailer? If so, have you considered using Ethernet over powerline?
