How to get Sandy Bridge Intel HD drivers on 18.04?
Just installed Xubuntu 18.04 on my system with an i7-2600, that's a Sandy Bridge processor with Intel HD 2000.
Under "Additional Drivers" in Software & Updates it shows "No additional drivers available.". I have these boxes ticked: ticked boxes
drivers 18.04 intel-graphics sandy-bridge

All the drivers you need are open source and built into the Linux kernel. You are all set
