cortex 18.1.0 process on Linux [on hold]

Multi tool use
I am curious what this process is doing on my system? I am logged onto my university computing cluster and I see a process/command (see screenshot below) called cortex.18.1.0 (4 processes). I am not sure what it is and I would like to know more about it. Thank you!
linux unix process ps hpc
