Configuring the kernel of recent version
I am trying to configure the kernel for my test device driver development but its not possible to create a custom kernel.Please suggest me with some helpful link and problem we are facing is as below.

Can you edit your question to include the output ofls -l /usr/src/linux-source-4.15.0.tar.bz
andfile /usr/src/linux-source-4.15.0.tar.bz
?

You can pass the kernel parameters that can change behavior/config during boot usign thelinux
line in grub.Will this achieve what you need? (ie. have a menu entry for each set of conditions you want; but you're vague on what you want to configure)
